Reason I post this is that for preps I sometimes visualize confronting a badguy and having to fire on him. I realized that my visualations have always been based on either some non-descript silhouette or a stereotypical bandit type.

But it occured to me - what if it I was confronted with something else. Would I be ready? So now I'm going to start visualizing other potential intruders as well.

I just throw this out for others here to consider for themselves.


Just to stir the pot a little more: some here have stated that if they find anyone in their house it will be shoot, shovel, and shut-up. No questions and no hesitation...

indeed... i know, personally, of at least one case where a woman was yelling for help from a rapist in pursuit in order to get the victim to unlock and open the door, while a large man was ready to force further entry....

I don't see any weapons or imminent threat from the women in the OP. Why would you shoot somebody that was not representing an imminent threat? That would be murder.

Now if said women were pointing a gun at me, then definitely.

Hard to say, I am an older guy, not easily influenced by sex appeal, more likely cautious for a trap in the PAW, think about your surroundings.
